THE FOUNDER

Hello! Paulina Friedel here, how are you doing?

I am a DESIGNER of all things! Passionately obsessed with colors, layouts, textures, light, interior design, DIY and power tools, I have always been involved in remodeling projects for friends and family. Eventually, I purchased my very own fixer-upper in Los Angeles – right before becoming a mom! 

For my own home as well as others, I love to be hands-on, whether it is a small DIY project or the full construction of a brand new building, and from foundation to finishing touches and décor. During the pandemic, I relied on my local West Adams community and came to appreciate my beautifully designed home and yard like never before. 

Having a functional, joy filled space (especially the backyard!) to gather with those I love, truly SAVED me and my family, which is why I decided to officially leave my 20 year long career in graphic design to start PUNIAF.design. Now I can fully share my HGTV home makeover and MacGyver-level problem-solving skills with more people, right here in the community I love so much.

 I am incredibly lucky to have a great relationship with builder extraordinaire, Erlin Torres. He brings over 25 years of experience to every project and having worked with him and his crew for almost 10 years, I am confident tackling any project, no matter the size or scope. 

Creating well designed, beautiful spaces, filled with personality and happiness is my speciality, and I am so glad you are here!
